Looking at things a Danfoss BD80F compressor is capable of 274watt cooling capacity at 14 amps on 12 volts, that would give a cooling capacity in BTU of 1000 BTU, its not much but for a small area in a yacht like a cabin using a car evaporator built into a housing with a fan it would work well.

The 5000 BTU unit
Smallest footprint on the market.
Dimensions: Cooling only unit 15"L x 11.5"W x 11.5"H
Reverse cycle unit 18"L x 12"W x 11.5"H
Running amperage; Cool = 4.4 amps, R/C = 5.5 amps (Add approximately one amp for the standard seawater pumps. Start up amperage is calculated by running amperage multiplied by 1.8).
The M5 has the smallest footprint on the market and weighs in at 31.5 lbs. The rotatable blower tapers down to a "V" shape for those odd angle discharge installations. M5 units use 4" ducting recommended for a minimum of 2, 4" round supply grill installation.
The M5 will run off:
1. The new Honda eu1000i 1,000 watt portable generator, while in cool mode.
2. A Statpower 1,000 Watt Inverter and 450 amp hours of battery power can be used at anchor (on average) for one night.
The M5 unit is ideal for the "tight fit" installations and individual climate controlled cabins.
All M5 models include a programmable digital thermostat. Pump Not Included.
